How to export your domain list from Spaceship, Cloudflare, Namecheap and GoDaddy

By the RenewRoster team · · 7 min read

Before you can track renewals properly, you need a complete list of domains with their expiry dates. If your clients' domains are spread across several registrars, that means exporting from each one. Here's how to do it at the four registrars agencies use most, using the dashboard where possible and the API where there's no export button.

Registrar dashboards change often. These steps were checked against each registrar's own documentation in October 2026; if a menu has moved, the sources at the end link to the current help pages.

Quick comparison

RegistrarDashboard exportAPIIncludes expiry date
SpaceshipYes, CSV or ExcelYes (API key + secret)Yes
Cloudflare RegistrarNo CSV exportYes (API token)Yes, via API
NamecheapYes, CSVYes, with account requirements and IP allowlistingYes
GoDaddyYes, CSVRestricted for many accountsYes (with "All Columns")

Spaceship

Dashboard (CSV or Excel)

  1. Sign in to Spaceship and open Domain Manager, which shows your domain portfolio.
  2. Select the domains to export, or select all.
  3. Use the export option to download the list as CSV or Excel. Spaceship's export can include domain details, nameservers, DNS presets and categories, alongside expiry dates.

API

Spaceship's public API has a paginated "get domain list" endpoint. Create an API key and secret in your Spaceship account (API Manager), giving it read access to domains only. Read-only scope is all a renewal tracker needs.

Cloudflare Registrar

Cloudflare's dashboard lists registered domains under Domain Registration → Manage Domains, but there's no CSV export button. For a full list, use the API:

  1. In the Cloudflare dashboard, go to My Profile → API Tokens → Create Token.
  2. Create a custom token with Account → Registrar → Read permission only (add Zone Read if you also want zone lists), limited to the right account.
  3. Find your account ID on the account's overview page.
  4. Call the List Registrations endpoint:
curl "https://api.cloudflare.com/client/v4/accounts/$ACCOUNT_ID/registrar/registrations?per_page=50" \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $CLOUDFLARE_API_TOKEN"

Each result includes the domain name and its expiry date. The endpoint is paginated, so keep requesting the next page until you've seen them all. Then convert the JSON to CSV with a tool like jq, or let a renewal tracker read it directly.

Namecheap

Dashboard (CSV)

  1. Sign in and open Domain List in the left sidebar.
  2. Tick the checkbox next to the domains you want, or the top checkbox to select all on the page. Increase the number of rows per page first if you have many domains.
  3. Open the Actions menu and choose Export CSV File.

The CSV includes each domain's name, status, auto-renew setting, privacy setting and expiration date.

API

Namecheap's API (namecheap.domains.getList) returns domains with expiry dates, but access has conditions: you have to enable API access in your profile, meet Namecheap's account eligibility requirements, and allowlist the IP address that will call the API. There are no read-only API keys, so treat the key with care. For most agencies the dashboard CSV is simpler.

GoDaddy

Dashboard (CSV)

  1. Sign in to your GoDaddy Domain Portfolio.
  2. Tick the domains you want, or the checkbox next to Domain Name and then Select All.
  3. From the action menu choose Export as .CSV. On smaller screens it may be under More.
  4. Choose All Columns to include the expiration date and other details. Leave Include authorization codes unticked; you don't need transfer codes for tracking, and it's safer not to have them in a spreadsheet.
  5. Select Export domains, then Download from the confirmation message. You can also find it later under Settings → Exported Lists, where exports stay available for 28 days.

API

GoDaddy's domains API has access restrictions for many accounts and terms that limit how it can be used, so the CSV export is the dependable route.

Domains in client-owned accounts

For domains registered in your clients' own accounts, you have three options: ask the client to export a CSV using the steps above, ask them for delegate or team access, or simply list the domains yourself. You don't need registrar access to track expiry; the expiry date is public in the registry via RDAP. Paste up to 10 at a time into the free bulk domain + SSL checker to confirm the dates.

Import into RenewRoster

RenewRoster imports these lists directly. You can upload the CSV exported from GoDaddy, Namecheap, Spaceship or any registrar that has domain and expiry columns, and it maps the columns automatically. Import from registrar is also available on every plan: open your dashboard, go to Integrations (or Import from registrar on the Assets page) and connect Spaceship, Cloudflare or Namecheap with an API key, read-only where the registrar offers it. RenewRoster pulls in every domain and keeps the list in sync as you register new ones; keys are encrypted at rest and used only to read your domain list. The free plan imports up to 5 domains. Once your domains are in, RenewRoster re-checks every expiry date against the registry daily and reminds you and your clients before anything lapses.

Not sure what to do with the list once you have it? Start with our domain and SSL renewal checklist.

Cleaning up the exported list

Registrar exports often need a little tidying before they're useful for renewal tracking:

Keep the API key safe

If you use an API to export, give the key the smallest permission that works (read-only where the registrar offers it), restrict it to one account, and delete it when you're done, or hand it only to a tool that encrypts it at rest. Never paste registrar keys into shared documents or chat.

Import your domain list and get reminders

RenewRoster tracks every client's domain and SSL expiry dates, sends reminders at 60, 30, 14 and 3 days (under your agency's brand if you like) and gives you a monthly renewals report. Free for 5 domains, no card needed.
